Coach (Dr.) Orlando Goodwin graduated from the University of Kentucky and entered the U.S. Army where for the next 23 ½ years he served as a communications officers with duty in several places around the world to include West Germany, South Korea, Haiti, Afghanistan, Qatar, Kuwait, Thailand, Bahamas, Ecuador, Argentina, Canada and Puerto Rico. During that time he earned two Masters degrees (Administration from Central Michigan, War Studies from Royal Military College of Canada). He retired from the army and taught at Hillsborough High School for 14 years during which he earned a Doctorate degree in Educational Leadership from Nova Southeastern University. He is currently the Assistant Principal for Administration at North Tampa EPIC 3. Dr. Goodwin is in his15th year as a coach at Hillsborough High School.
